Detours have been announced for two roads in Trumbull beginning this week due to construction work in the area, according to the town.

TRUMBULL, CT — Detours have been announced for two roads in Trumbull beginning this week due to construction work in the area, town officials recently announced.

According to the town website, Spring Hill Road will be one-way for eastbound traffic at the Transfer Station starting Monday (July 28) due to roadway construction.

Westbound traffic will be closed at Trefoil Drive, and vehicles traveling west on Spring Hill Road will be detoured south on Trefoil Drive to Route 111.

The Transfer Station will remain open throughout the construction period, and the traffic pattern is expected to remain in place for approximately six weeks, weather permitting, according to the town.

Lake Avenue will be closed Monday (July 28) between Garwood Road and Wildwood Drive. The closure is expected to begin at 7:30 a.m. and end by 4 p.m., according to the town.

A detour will be in place via Garwood Road and Wildwood Drive to maintain traffic flow around the closure, and drivers are asked to follow all posted detour signs, according to the town.
