Driver Trapped By Trees Freed From Car After Crash In Trumbull: Long Hill FD

Long Hill fire officials said a driver was unable to exit their car after a crash in Trumbull due to trees around the vehicle.

TRUMBULL, CT — A driver trapped in their car after a crash Thursday morning was freed from their vehicle by firefighters, according to fire officials.

In a Facebook post, fire officials said Long Hill Volunteer Fire Co. crews were called to the area of Main Street at Bonnie View Drive after receiving a report of a single-car crash.

When crews arrived, they found the car had gone off the road and the driver was unable to exit the vehicle due to surrounding trees, fire officials said.

Crews worked to remove the trees from around the car so the driver could get out, according to fire officials.
