Drowning Victim Pulled From Water In Trumbull: Police

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Trumbull Police said they responded to an emergency call of a drowning at the Pinewood Lake Recreation area on East Lake Road.

TRUMBULL, CT — At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Trumbull Police said they responded to an emergency call of a drowning at the Pinewood Lake Recreation area on East Lake Road.

Police officers, along with Nichols Fire Department personnel, found a man who was unconscious in the water and were able to bring him to shore in a boat, police said. The man was treated by Trumbull EMS and immediately transported to Saint Vincent’s Medical Center.

Police personnel were assisting family members who were on scene and conducting a preliminary investigation to determine what had occurred, police said.
