Dumpster Fire Breaks Out In Trumbull: Long Hill FD

TRUMBULL, CT — Firefighters extinguished a dumpster fire that broke out Monday evening in Trumbull, according to fire officials.

In a Facebook post, fire officials said Long Hill Volunteer Fire Co. crews were called to Lakewood Drive after receiving a report of a dumpster fire from a neighbor who spotted the flames.

When crews arrived, they found a fully involved dumpster with no structural exposure and quickly extinguished it, according to fire officials.
