Trumbull's Farm Fair rolled into town on Saturday, complete with a display on how raw wool becomes yarn at the Trumbull Agriscience Center near Trumbull High School.
Without machines, it can take hours to make a strand, said a farming student who had been knitting a scarf for hours.
The school raises its own sheep, from which the wool came.
At another table, Jeff Penkoff Jr. , a THS freshman, sold his homemade dog biscuits. He started his own business to raise money for a school trip.
