Trumbull's Unemployment Rate Below State Average

Trumbull's unemployment rate has fallen slightly since January 2012.

According to the latest figures released by the Connecticut Department of Labor, Trumbull's unemployment for December 2012 was 6.4 percent, compared to 6.8 percent in January 2012.

In Connecticut, the pool of jobless people last month also dropped to 7.8 percent overall. Nationally, the United State's unemployment rate is 7.6 percent.
