The Trumbull High School Concert Choir will perform Handel’s Messiah at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, New York City on Sunday, November 25 at 2 pm as part of a Distinguished Concerts International event.   The Concert Choir will join with other choirs from around the nation, an orchestra and professional soloists for the performance.  For tickets and more information go to DCINY.com.

The Trumbull Choirs have previously appeared at Carnegie Hall on nine occasions as well as on tour domestically and internationally.  In these settings students have a unique opportunity to perform in a world-renowned venue with professional musicians.

Choir Director Anne Tornillo said, “I am so proud of our wonderfully talented Trumbull High School vocalists whose reputation as fine and well-prepared singers resulted in this invitation.  We have worked diligently on this challenging music and so look forward to our upcoming Avery Fisher Hall experience.”
