Extended Hours Announced For Beach Memorial Pool In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — The town of Trumbull announced this week it is extending the hours Beach Memorial Pool will be open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In a statement posted to the town website, First Selectman Vicki Tesoro said the newly expanded schedule is as follows:

• Monday: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Adaptive Swim from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Friday: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sunday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The schedule for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will remain the same as originally posted to accommodate swim lessons and adaptive swim sessions, Tesoro said.

The expanded pool schedule is effective immediately and will remain in effect until further notice, according to Tesoro.

The newly opened splash pad at Beach Memorial Park operates daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Sept. 1, 2025.

"With the heat wave projected to continue this week, it's important that we increase access to Beach Pool," Tesoro said in a statement. "Work continues on the full renovation of Tashua Pool, which is expected to be completed in July. I encourage everyone in town to do what they can to stay safe during this extreme weather. Be safe and remember to check on your neighbors."

Tesoro also encouraged residents to review the town's website for further information on safety precautions during extreme heat or cold.
