First Annual Bike Rodeo at Indian Ledge Park
Hosted by the Trumbull Health Department and Trumbull BMX

The Trumbull Health Department and Trumbull BMX have partnered together to host the first annual Mother’s Day Bike Rodeo at Indian Ledge Park (upper parking lot), Indian Ledge Road, Trumbull, on Saturday, May 13, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Kids three years and older are invited to grab their bikes and bike helmets and join us. Bike decorations, in honor of Mother’s Day, are encouraged. Trumbull BMX will provide a brief presentation on bike safety. Following the rodeo, experienced bikers will be invited to test out the BMX track.
“The Trumbull Health Department is excited to work with Trumbull BMX and the Parks and Recreation Department on this event,” said Luci Bango, Trumbull Health Department Director of Health. “The health department encourages all residents to get active this spring. Biking is a great way to get active and a great opportunity to spend some time with your kids, family and friends.”

It is important that children take a break from technology, spend time outdoors, maintain social relationships with their peers, and most importantly, be active!
