Former Trumbull Little League President Honored

Jeff Blueweiss started in Trumbull Little League as a dad but worked his way up to president.

And though he died Aug. 29, 2012, he will be remembered and his name will always be associated with Trumbull Little League through a new scoreboard and pressbox.

First Selectman Tim Herbst and State Reps. Tony Hwang and David Rutigliano spoke, as well as Blueweiss' son, Brett, a former TLL player, spoke and later put a shovel in the ground for the new pressbox.
