Frank R. Sciuto Sr, age 79 of Milford, passed away February 16, 2025

Beloved Husband & Father, Frank loved summer fairs, sports and spending time with friends and family.

Frank R. Sciuto Sr, age 79 of Milford, beloved husband of Linda Clark Sciuto, passed away on February 16, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Frank was born in Bridgeport CT on June 3, 1945 to the late Carmen J. and Anna (Yash) Sciuto. He was a graduate of Harding High School Class of 1964 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business at the University of New Haven. He worked within the manufacturing industry and ended his career at the HB Ives Company in New Haven.

Frank enjoyed attending summer fairs throughout Connecticut, and especially loved to go to the Big E every year. He also worked at many of these fairs with his friends, the late Kenneth and Regina Hirshik of Trumbull for many years. He also enjoyed watching and participating in sports including billiards, jai-alai, bowling, football, baseball, and professional wrestling. He especially enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports and would often come to their games and practices to cheer them on. Frank also took pride in teaching his oldest grandson how to drive.

Frank also enjoyed volunteering his time and would always be ready to help anyone in need. These acts of kindness would range from volunteering for his sons’ activities when they were younger, such as Cub/Boy Scouts, the Jonathan Law High School Post-Prom Committee to painting homes for family or friends. He also worked as an Election Official at the polls in Milford for 15 years and proudly earned a certificate from the State of Connecticut for this service to the City of Milford.
In addition to his beloved wife of 54 years, with whom he was high school sweethearts, he is survived by his loving children Frank R. Sciuto Jr and his wife Jill of Milford and Christopher J. Sciuto and Daniela of Woodbridge: two grandsons Brady and Colin Sciuto; one soon to be born grandson Liam Sciuto. He is also survived by his brother Carmen J. Sciuto (Audrey) of Stratford, sister-in-law Bonnie Wilkes, brother-in-law Thomas P. Clark (Maritza), cousin-in-law Carol Tonken of New Hampshire, five nephews, and two nieces. In addition to his parents, Frank will be reunited with his brother-in-law Roy J. Wilkes and his dear friends Kenneth and Regina Hirshik, as well as Lee Sawicki.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Prayer Service is to begin at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be held by the family at a future date.
