George Burr of Trumbull, Normandy Survivor

Among those traveling in Monday's parade will be George Burr, 95, father of Town Clerk Suzanne Burr Monaco.

He last walked with the parade at 88 years old, she said. Now he is driven in a convertible.

Burr Monaco said her father always remembered those with whom he served. "He used to go to his Army Reunion every year," she said.

Today he lives with Burr Monaco.
