Gun Discharged Inside Mall: Trumbull Police

TRUMBULL, CT — A gun was discharged inside the mall in Trumbull Monday night, police said.

At 6:30 p.m. police responded to the mall for a report of a gunshot. Police said two teens were being escorted out when one teen dropped a handgun which discharged, firing one shot into the ceiling, police said.

The teens fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Police said they are searching the area for suspects.
