Health Department Hosts the 3rd Annual Public Health Cupcake Wars

The Trumbull Health Department is hosting the third annual Public Health Cupcake Wars on Wednesday, August 21, from 9:30-11:00 am at the Trumbull Senior Center, 23 Priscilla Place, Trumbull. Open to students in kindergarten to eighth grade. The fee to participate is $5 (non-refundable). Call the Trumbull Health Department at 203-452-1030 (ext. 0) to register and to make payment.
“We encourage children to come participate in this fun event,” said Luci Bango, Trumbull Health Department Director of Health. “It’s an opportunity for children to show their creative side and express themselves.”
Bango said, “This is the third year that we are offering this event. We have grown our registration since we have begun and look forward to increasing our participation again this year.”

Participants will be given a maximum of two cupcakes to decorate. All supplies will be provided. We cannot guarantee that the ingredients used will be allergen free. Participants will be allowed to take their cupcakes home to enjoy. Prizes will be awarded by age group. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
“Get ready to have some fun and show off your cupcake decorating skills,” says Bango.
