It's Official: Trumbull Day is Back

Sponsorships are available.

Trumbull Day is back, First Selectman Tim Herbst said Tuesday.

“Trumbull Day has been a long-standing town tradition and its absence has been sorely missed by the residents of this town and surrounding communities,” he said. “Originally established in 1972 to celebrate the Town of Trumbull’s 175th Anniversary, it quickly evolved into one of the most well attended, most anticipated events in Fairfield County.

"The return of Trumbull Day will once again give us the opportunity to showcase our great town and its greatest assets – its residents,” he added.

The festival will take place June 29 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the fields behind Trumbull High School and Hillcrest Middle School.

It will include carnival amusements and close with a fireworks display, like Trumbull Days before it. The main stage will feature live musical entertainment all day.

"In addition to playing a variety of music, each of the bands has a tie to Trumbull," Herbst said.

There will also be several food vendors, a wine and beer tent, arts and crafts vendors and a lively children’s entertainment area.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available as is space for vendors. Please visit the Trumbull Day website at  www.trumbull-ct.gov/TrumbullDay for more information, or like them on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter at #TrumbullDay.
