Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA To Hold 2nd Annual Robin Bova Memorial Gala

TRUMBULL, CT — The Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA invites residents to reserve their space at its second annual Robin Bova Memorial "Have a Heart for a Cause" Gala next month.

According to a news release provided by the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA, this important fundraiser will take place Feb. 6 at Tashua Knolls in Trumbull.

The event will include dinner, dancing and award recognition of four outstanding individuals who embody the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, according to the organization.

The following 2025 honorees were announced earlier this month by the Y:

• Caring Award: Jeanne Kirchner
• Honesty Award: Linda Resnick
• Respect Award: Dee Chiota
• Responsibility Award: Kelly Plunkett

All funds raised will support LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, Rock Steady for people with Parkinson's and MS Yoga programs, as well as future chronic disease programs, according to the Y.

These programs are open to the greater community and are offered free of charge to participants, the organization noted.
