A man allegedly hit a woman in front three children in a car.
Pedro Alexaner Tavarez, 41, of Light Street, Stratford, is charged with three counts of risk of injury to a minor and single counts of second-degree breach of the peace and third-degree assault.
Police said the man and and the woman had a dispute in the car on Huntington Road before he struck her and fled. There was a witness, police added.
Tavarez's bond was set at $5,000.
