How did you get into the insurance industry?
I moved from the dealership world to insurance because I found interest in matching people to the right type of insurance policy.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
When clients have an incident in their lives that create a disturbance regarding their possessions (cars, bikes, homes, etc.) , but I was able to give great coverage to make them whole again.
What’s something you wish everyone knew about insurance?
It is not as simple when it comes to rating a risk. For example: If 10 people all buy the same exact car and have the same driving record all their auto insurance policies for that car could differ by hundreds or even thousands of dollars. That is why having a good insurance agent is key.
What's something you wish everyone knew about working with a local agent?
Local agents will know most of the time which companies and coverages are the right fit for them with the most competitive rates. We know what coverages are most important as well as what coverages may not be necessary.
What factors should someone consider when exploring their insurance options?
Your credit, the town that you live in, and age can be major factors in insurance rates. Make sure your agent knows things such as home updates, new purchases, GPA's (if kids are on a policy), safety features, military service, and similar things to make sure you get any discount you qualify for.
What would you tell someone who’s on the fence about getting a personalized insurance policy quote?
It is a lot easier than you think. I do most of the work for you. Throwing your information on an online insurance website may not give you accurate rates, ask the right questions, and you most likely would not get a 1 specific person who can answer your questions.
What do you like most about the Trumbull area?
There is a strong sense of community. It is a very big area but we try to do our business with local people.
