Minigolf For Charity Hits The Trumbull Library

Minigolfers converged on Trumbull as IMPACTrumbull staged a mini golf course inside the Trumbull Library recently.
The organization, which came from a group of Trumbull mothers on Facebook, was raising money to support its various activities.
"We recruit men, women and children volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to complete hands-on, done-in-a-day projects supporting existing non-profits in Fairfield County," according to the group's mission statement.
Jeff Wright of Trumbull, who owns a painting company, sponsored the event. He said he was drawn to idea because of IMPACTrumbull's goal of performing done-in-a-day projects.
Their activities include blanket-making for hospitalized children, backpack and book collections, making "Blessing Bags" for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission and food drives.
