Andrew G. Korpita, 64, of Richmond Drive, Monroe, is charged with driving under the influence.
Police said Korpita was speeding and was stopped at Huntington Road. He failed field sobriety tests and his blood-alcohol content was tested at 0.114 and 0.090, over the legal limit of 0.08, police said.
His bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
