New Curfew Policy Announced At Trumbull Mall
The new curfew policy is aimed at creating "a safe, enjoyable environment for visitors," officials said.

"In order to create a safe, enjoyable environment for visitors to the Trumbull Mall, the mall management is implementing a curfew policy on December 23, 24, and 26, 2023.

On these days from 12 PM until close, all patrons under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult over the age of 21 while inside the mall premises. Management asks that supervising adults be prepared to show proof of age via a valid form of identification, such as state-, military-, or school-issued IDs.
This curfew policy has been established in response to feedback from community members and tenants and aims to promote a family-friendly atmosphere for all visitors. The mall management has stated that this new protocol is to maintain a consistent standard of safety and security throughout the mall at all hours. Other guidelines include:

* One 21+ adult may accompany up to four youths, excluding children 10 and under.
* All accompanied youths must remain with the supervising adult.
* Supervising adults are responsible for the actions of the youth they accompany.
* Those lacking proper identification or proof of age may be asked to leave the property.
