New Traffic Light Up On Main Street In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — A new traffic light on a main road in Trumbull is now functioning as of this week, according to police.

In a Facebook post Thursday, police advised drivers of the new traffic light, located at Main Street (Route 111) and Whitney Avenue.

Police also urged drivers in the area to proceed with caution as they approach this new traffic signal.

Town officials announced last week the traffic light would be bagged until it is inspected by the state, which they said would likely take place this week.
