New Trumbull Italian Restaurant Now Hiring Ahead Of Opening

TRUMBULL, CT — Antonio's Italian Bistro, a popular Darien-based Italian restaurant that plans to open a new location in Trumbull this year, is now hiring for all positions, according to town officials.

Located at 921 White Plains Road in Trumbull Center, Antonio's is currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions in front and back of house, according to the town's Economic and Community Development Department.

The restaurant will host an open house hiring event Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those who attend the event are asked to please bring their resume.

Peter Redei, chief operating officer for the restaurant group Antonio's operates under, confirmed late last year to Patch the new restaurant was planned to open sometime in mid-January.

"We could not be more excited," Redei said to Patch last year. "It's truly an amazing venture for us."

In addition to dinner dishes made with "the absolute highest quality of ingredients," the Trumbull restaurant will also offer lunch, happy hour specials and "amazing brunches with some Italian twists," as well as a big bar with an enticing cocktail menu, according to Redei.

Antonio's also operates a flagship restaurant in Darien, as well as a location in Lake George, N.Y.
