New Year's Holiday Announcements In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — Town officials have announced the following schedule for town buildings in Trumbull on New Year's Eve and Day.

According to the town website, Town Hall offices and facilities will close early on New Year's Eve at 2 p.m. and will be closed on New Year's Day.

New Year's Eve is observed Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, while New Year's Day is celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.

The early closures apply to Town Hall, the library and the Health Department, as well as the Recreation Department, Senior Center & Counseling Center, animal shelter and non-essential staff in the Trumbull Police Department, according to the town.

Public Works and Parks departments' early dismissals will be directed by the department head, town officials said.
