Nichols FD To Host 87th Annual Neighbors Night Event In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — The Nichols Fire Department will host its 87th annual Neighbors Night event Tuesday, during which guests are invited to meet firefighters, connect with their neighbors and learn about the department that serves their community.

According to the department's Facebook page, the event will be held at the department, located at 100 Shelton Road in Trumbull, at 7:30 p.m.

During the event, Nichols residents can enjoy refreshments, learn about department updates and enter the department's free turkey raffle.

Guests are also invited to bring a non-perishable food item to support local food pantries during the holiday season.

Anyone interested in joining the department can also ask questions and pick up a volunteer firefighter application, according to the department.
