No Deal: NY Couple Arrested at Best Buy
A NY couple was arrested at the Hawley Lane Mall Best Buy after trying to use a fake credit card.
TRUMBULL--A New York couple did not find the deal they were looking for at the Hawley Lane Mall Best Buy store.
The pair attempted to buy iPhones with fake credit cards and were stopped by an attentive employee, according to The Trumbull Times.
The Times reports that Kareen Harris, 27, of West Hempstead and Ty-Lyia Sims, 20, of Laurelton, N.Y., attempted the scam with a fake American Express card on May 25.

The two were arrested and charged with forgery along with two other charges, according to the report.
