Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
My mom, Christine Duva, is a nurse at Bridgeport Hospital and NEMG. My dad, Scott Duva, is a police officer with the Trumbull Police Department.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
I am a triplet with two boys and I have 4 year old twin siblings. Every morning my siblings and I wake up and say goodbye to our parents not knowing what the day will bring. We never know if our parents will come home safe to us or if today is the day that they will get exposed to COVID-19. They are on the frontlines every day making sure that everyone is able to stay safe and hopefully stop the spread of COVID-19. Our family is blessed with not one, but two heroes.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
One thing I want everyone to know about my parents is that they are my heroes.
