Obituary: Anthony "TJ" Joseph Gabriele, Jr., 56, of Trumbull
Anthony, known as "Ron Jovi" in the 80's rock band Mullett, was a devoted father and also enjoyed a successful career as a mortgage broker.

TRUMBULL, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Anthony Joseph Gabriele, Jr. (TJ), 56, died unexpectedly on August 20, 2021 while vacationing with his girlfriend, Danielle Persico, by his side.
TJ was born on December 15, 1964 to Anthony Joseph Gabiele, Sr. and Marian Sloan Gabriele in Bridgeport, CT.
He grew up in Trumbull, CT and was a graduate of Trumbull High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Business Management.
In addition to his parents, TJ is survived by his two beloved children Landon and Ava Gabriele, his three sisters, Victoria Gabriele Priddle, Susan Gabriele Casey and his brother-in-law Brian Casey, and Leslie Gabriele MacLeay.
He is also survived and loved by Lucian Raynor, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
TJ led a successful career as a mortgage broker for over 25 years. He was part owner of Northeast Mortage, LLC and most recently, he was employed by Guaranteed Rate Affinity, Vice President of Mortgage Lending.
TJ was a member of the President’s Club which consists of top originators committed to providing guidance to new originators. In addition, TJ was honored with the “Top 1% Mortgage Originators in America 2020” award.
TJ was best known by his stage name “Ron Jovi” in the 80’s rock band Mullett. By day he was a corporate executive helping clients fulfill their dreams of becoming homeowners, and by night, transformed to a “bigger than life” rock star.
He loved to travel and attend sporting events. TJ was an avid NY Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers fan and enjoyed attending the games with his children.
TJ had a zest for life and lived it to its fullest.
He was most proud of his children’s accomplishments and was their biggest fan. He loved his family and always made sure they knew it. TJ will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
