Obituary: Diana Lynn Tommessilli, 66, formerly of Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Diana Lynn Tommessilli, 66, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully April 28, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.

Diana was born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1955, a daughter of the late Charles and Philomena (Mennillo) Card.

Diana was a graduate of Trumbull High School and continued her education and graduated from Sherwood Beauty School. She was a successful hairdresser for many years until she became employed with Connecticut Distributors.

Diana left the workforce when her son, Brandon, who she cherished, entered into her life. In her later years, Diana returned to work part-time in the Wallingford School System assisting in the cafeteria.

Diana truly cherished the love of her family and she enjoyed her sisters’ trips, the beach and fall fairs

Diana is survived by her son, Brandon Tommessilli; her sisters, Phyllis Tatro, Darlene Curtiss, Barbara Evanich and Deborah Sherwood; her brothers, Charles, Richard, James and Christopher Card; and many nieces and nephews.

Diana is predeceased by Brandon’s father, Steve Tommessilli.

Diana’s family will receive family and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 4 pm until 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Church of the Resurrection, 155 Pond Hill Road in Wallingford.

Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
