Obituary: Thomas Raymond Fildes, 62, of Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Thomas Raymond Fildes, age 62 of Trumbull, husband to Dorothy (Stanewich) Fildes, passed away at home on May 21, 2022.

He was born on September 26, 1959 in Bridgeport to the late Raymond and Rose C. (Kusheba) Fildes.

Tom was a web press operator for over 20 years at Northeast Graphics. He graduated Porter and Chester and HCC as a certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. He also was a bus driver for WE Transport.

Tom was very proud of his Irish heritage. He loved rock music, NASCAR, and the Boston Bruins.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Clarissa Fildes; his son, Kevin Fildes; sisters, Wendy and her husband Gary, Sharon and her husband Mark, Lisa, and Sandy; nieces, Emily, Adrianna, Alyssa, Dannielle, Tammy, and Denise; his mother-in-law, Helen Stanewich; his sister-in-law Christine Stanewich; his best friend, Frank Drzal; and his grand dog, Stella.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 11:30 am - 12:30 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home. 2155 Main Street, Stratford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at St. James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford. Interment in St. John Cemetery, Stratford.
