Openings Of 2 Trumbull Parks Delayed Saturday Due To Kids Triathlon: Town
Town officials said both parks will have a delayed opening Saturday due to the special event.
TRUMBULL, CT — Beach Memorial Park and Pool and Twin Brooks Park will have delayed openings Saturday due to a kids triathlon event, town officials said this week.
According to the town website, the opening of both parks and the pool will be delayed to noon on Saturday.
Parks and Recreation will host the second annual Trumbull Kids Triathlon, which runs through Beach Memorial Pool, Old Dike Road, Twin Brooks Drive and Twin Brooks Park.

Spectators via foot traffic are welcome, and residents are encouraged to help keep the young athletes safe during the event.
