Married to wife, Audrey for 23 years. Four children: Madeline (22), Emma (22), Jackson (20) and Georgia (16)

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?

My sister is the current Chair of the Board of Finance.

Previous public office, appointive or elective:

I have been a member of the Town Council since 2015. From 2017 - 2023 I was appointed as Majority Leader.

Why are you seeking this office?

I am seeking re-election to continue the work of the Tesoro administration, which has for the last 8-years kept taxes stable while fostering our award-winning school system, supporting our police and public safety agencies and implementing many need infrastructure upgrades to the Town.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:

Taxes. I intend to do what I and the Democrat caucus has done for the last 8 years, namely, to thoroughly review and consider each line item of the budget as careful stewards of taxpayer money. Despite difficult times in the economy, I am proud that during my time on Council, we have kept spending below the rate of inflation.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Experience and dedication. I have spent 8-years consistently putting in the work have come to each meeting prepared to cast well considered and reasoned votes.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

The continued growth of our commercial tax base, to work with our excellent economic development staff to attract further business investment in Town.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have been a commercial/corporate attorney for the last 26-years and have represented businesses from start ups to multi-national enterprises.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Measure twice; cut once.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

It's been a privilege to represent the residents of District 3 and I hope that I have earned their votes for another two years.
