No.

I have not.
Why are you seeking this office?
I understand how local government works—I’ve worked with it, in it, and covered it. I’m a progressive who believes real community growth comes through consensus. I want to help build a more connected, inclusive, and sustainable world for my children—starting right here in Trumbull.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ensuring Trumbull remains affordable and accessible for everyone. I’ll advocate for smart growth that expands housing options, keeps taxes fair, and invests in walkable, connected neighborhoods that strengthen our community and local economy.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I respect anyone willing to step up and serve, but I bring a unique combination of experience and perspective. As a former journalist and current communications professional, I’ve spent two decades learning how government works, asking tough questions, and explaining complex issues clearly.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I plan to address environmental sustainability, local economic vitality, and civic engagement. From supporting clean energy initiatives to strengthening our local business community and ensuring government remains transparent and inclusive, I want Trumbull to be a model for how towns can grow responsibly while staying connected and community-driven.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I’ve built my career around service, transparency, and collaboration. As a journalist, I held leaders accountable; as a communications director, I help organizations drive impact; and as a teacher, I empower students to think critically and engage their communities. That combination of leadership, communication, and public understanding prepares me to serve effectively and responsibly on Town Council.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
I’ve had a lot of good advice over the years from mentors and friends, so it’s hard to pick just one. But through managing people, I’ve learned that you get the best out of others by genuinely caring and giving them the space to work in ways that make them most creative and productive. Trust and empathy go a long way toward bringing out someone’s best work.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am the Director of Earned Media and Senior Account Manager at The Narrative Project, where I lead media strategy and public relations for mission-driven clients, securing national and regional coverage. A former journalist and managing editor with 20 years in newsrooms, I also teach communications as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University and was honored as a 40 Under 40 recipient by The Business Council of Fairfield County. For decades, I’ve studied how local and state governments work—learning how to balance budgets, manage mill rates, and attract business. I’m known for taking the time to understand complex issues and explain them clearly, working across the aisle to build trusted relationships for advice, insight, and collaboration.
My family settled in Trumbull nearly three years ago after searching across Fairfield County. We love the schools, the strong sense of community, and the easy access to parks and amenities. The Farmer’s Market and our local parks are family favorites—and we’re excited about Trumbull’s future potential.
