No.

Previous public office, appointive or elective:

Yes, I was elected to the Trumbull Town Council in 2023.

Why are you seeking this office?

I am seeking this office to build on the progress of the past two years by strengthening our schools, enhancing public safety, and driving responsible economic growth — all while maintaining transparency and accountability in fiscal spending.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:

The most pressing issue facing our community is taxes and affordability. Incremental spending decisions are often viewed in isolation as minor, but collectively they place a meaningful strain on taxpayers. My goal is to strengthen fiscal discipline by holding department leaders accountable, requiring thoughtful justification for all expenditures, and ensuring that every tax dollar delivers tangible value for residents.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Every candidate brings a unique background and perspective, and I have great respect for anyone willing to serve our community. What sets me apart is a results-driven, responsible approach to leadership. I make decisions guided by facts, experience, and a commitment to delivering the greatest value for our residents. I look forward to working with all members of the town council toward our common goal of improving our community.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Taxes, infrastructure, and economic development remain my top priorities. I’ll continue focusing on responsible fiscal management to ensure every dollar is spent wisely and delivers real value for residents. We must invest strategically in infrastructure and public safety while promoting smart, sustainable economic growth that broadens our tax base. My goal is to keep Trumbull safe, vibrant, and affordable for families and future generations.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

During my time on the council, I’ve focused on accountability, fiscal discipline, and making every tax dollar count. I voted to reinstate the Police Pension Plan, which has improved recruitment and retention while reducing costly overtime. I also supported a ban on marijuana dispensaries and helped allocate ARPA funds responsibly across departments—including funding a town-wide lightning detection system to improve public safety.

When the Community Center was first proposed at $32 million, I joined others in pressing for a more efficient design. The result was a $27 million plan—saving taxpayers $5 million while still delivering a quality facility now up for public vote.

I also voted to provide tax abatements for volunteer first responders and for critically wounded and disabled veterans—small but meaningful measures that strengthen our community.

The common thread throughout these efforts is thoughtful, results-driven use of capital to ensure Trumbull remains safe, affordable, and well-managed for all residents.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

When faced with a big decision, the more difficult choice is usually the right choice.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I want voters to know that I am dedicated to taking a thoughtful, rational, and balanced approach to addressing our town's challenges. I believe in making decisions based on careful analysis and consideration, ensuring that we strike a fair and effective balance between competing interests. My commitment is to work collaboratively and thoughtfully to make our community better for everyone.
