Why are you seeking this office?
Felt called to pair my skills with the position.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Guidance for families in course selection and pathways to successful careers.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I’m not what you would consider your typical board of ed candidate.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Helping students to navigate and use the resources here in Trumbull to the best advantage to become productive citizens.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Mother was a teacher, I love learning, both my daughters are teachers and my wife and I taught our daughters, after their early learning at Booth Hill school, through high school in preparation for their successful college and career learning experiences.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Never quit, be persistent, and trust in the God who made you uniquely to serve Him and others with the gifts (skills and abilities) He gave you.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I would like to ask every voter to imagine what it would be like to have been happy with their decision to vote for Paul Plouffe a year from now and to tell me what that would look like now so that I can better serve them going in to this position. Thank you!
