With holiday deliveries arriving daily across CT, police remind Trumbull residents to take a few simple steps to keep their packages safe.

TRUMBULL, CT — With holiday deliveries arriving daily across Connecticut, police remind Trumbull residents to take a few simple steps to keep their packages safe.
In a Facebook post Monday, police provided the following tips for residents:
- Track your deliveries and bring them inside as soon as you can.
- Ask a neighbor to grab a package if you’re not home.
- Use secure delivery instructions when available.
- Keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right.
"Our officers will be out on patrol, but a watchful community is the best prevention," police wrote on Facebook. "Thank you for helping keep Trumbull safe and looking out for each other."
