Ivan Otto Capella, 92, passed away May 16, 2025, after a 35-year international career as a CPA and executive with Texaco in Cuba, NYC, Guatemala, Colombia, and NY, having studied at Nichols College and Universidad de Oriente, with a deep commitment to gardening, community engagement, and his Catholic faith as a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.

Donald Richard "Dick" Bellows, 88, passed away May 16, 2025, following a long career as Director of Respiratory Services at Bridgeport Hospital, service as a U.S. Army Reserves Captain, and active involvement in community health and the Bridgeport Kiwanis Club, with passions for gardening, travel, and Mets baseball.

Charles "Charlie" Terry Poarch Jr., 85, passed away Apr. 27, 2025, following a career in engineering with firms including Avco, G.E., Sikorsky, and RCM Technologies, where he served as general manager, after studying engineering at Auburn and the Univ. of Bridgeport, with interests spanning classic cars, choral music, and community service—most notably his 35-year tenure with the Greater Bridgeport Regional Planning Agency and efforts to introduce soccer to local schools.
