Ross Dress For Less Now Hiring For New Trumbull Store

TRUMBULL, CT — Ross Dress for Less is now hiring for their new store at the Hawley Lane Mall in Trumbull as the company plans to open its first Connecticut location very soon.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, town officials said the discount clothing store is expected to open its doors in Trumbull "as early as March," however an official opening date has not been announced by the company at this time.

Town officials also noted the store has started hiring for a number of positions ahead of the planned opening, including retail associate, assistant store manager, store protection specialist, area supervisor and store manager.

Anyone interested in applying for a position can do so by searching for "Trumbull, CT" on the company's website.

Once open, the new store will occupy the former HomeGoods space at 100 Hawley Lane.

Bakalar told Patch last year Ross Dress for Less will use the entire space, measuring about 35,000 square feet.

"It will bring good foot traffic to the site," Bakalar said last year. "Everyone likes a discount too."

A sign advertising the under construction Ross Dress for Less store could also be seen at the Hawley Lane Mall in January as work continued on the space.

The department store chain, which specializes in clothes, home decor and other items sold at discounted prices, currently operates stores in a number of other states, including New York, New Jersey, Florida and California.
