Rutigliano: Nighttime Bridge Maintenance to Begin in Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT - State Rep. David Rutigliano (R-123) is alerting Trumbull residents that the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will be performing nighttime bridge maintenance will on various bridges on Rt. 15 NB & SB in Trumbull, beginning Sunday, November 6th.

The work consists of bridge maintenance on the bridges listed below. This work is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016 through Friday, November 18, 2016.

• Bridge #5256 over Route 8 SB
• Bridge #5257 over Route 8 NB
• Bridge #5293 over Route 15

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2016 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs.

Lane Closure Info

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 15 NB & SB between Exit 51 (Route 108) and Exit 53 (Route 110-River Road) in Trumbull.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
