The resident of Middlebrook Farms (an assisted living center) in Trumbull says each day, "I wake up with a positive attitude."
The former Fairfield teacher has a married son, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her hobbies include computers, especially Skyping to keep in touch with her grandchildren. Skype is a computer program that combines video and audio.
She can also trace her ancestry back to the 1800s in Poland.
One thing that makes her happy is that where she lives offers a variety of activities for men and women, together or separately.
