Tashua Knolls Revamping its Offerings

Yes, it's a banquet hall, good for all sorts of celebrations, but Tashua Knolls restaurant owner Dominick Faustini wants the golf course eatery to be more.

Starting Oct. 9, Wednesday nights will become Family nights, featuring various ethnic themes.

"We're trying to build a family atmosphere," Faustini said.

Specialty stations will include a Salad and "Fiesta" Bar, Asian Stir Fry, Pasta Bar and ham, turkey and roast beef carved to order.

"Everyone enjoys our 'Build-your-own Sundae bar with all your favorite toppings," Faustini said. Soda is unlimited and there are $5 drink specials and a free glass of wine or beer for seniors.

The special is $14.95 for adults and $9.95 for children under 10.

"End the night with fun family photos in our complementary photo booth," Faustini said.

Family night will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations are suggested. The restaurant is at 40 Tashua Knolls Lane, and the number is 203-459-2521.

Faustini started the business in 1999 and the banquet hall was expanded in 2006.
