Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling
The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club 2022-2023 Tuesday Bowling at the Nutmeg Lanes in Fairfield. On April 25, in the second half play, Team 6 (Beecher Taylor, Mike Demichele, Sam Cicalo, Chris Barrett) has twenty (20) points over Team 4 (Bob Wolfe, Joe Flewellyn, Bob Flemming, Jim Menge). Andy Deyulio had a good day and bowled the single game scratch of 258, the handicap scratch series of 741, and the single game with handicap of 290. John Verdeschi bowled the scratch series of 662. Ron Rubano is the High Individual Match Point leader with 112 points. The Individual high average is now led by John Verdeschi at 195.51, Bob Winston is in second at 194.96, and in third place is Manny Cabral at 193.50.
The Friday Bowling League completed its season on April 28. The League champs were (see Team photo) Team 5 ( Ron Rubano, Terry McGuirk, Bob Burke, Noel Gabrielle) and finished with twelve (12) points over Team 12 (Chuck Vento, Bob Vagnini, Mike Bartolotta, Art Pranger). Rich Scwam bowled the high single-game scratch of 278 and the single-game with handicap of 296. Noel Gabrielle bowled the scratch series of 675 and the series with handicap of 747. The Individual high average is held by John Verdeschi at 203.36, in second place is Rich Schwam at 199.79, and in third place is Noel Gabrielle at 194.72.
