Tesoro, Trumbull Town Officials To Be Sworn In During Upcoming Ceremony
First Selectman Vicki Tesoro and other Trumbull town officials will be sworn in during an upcoming ceremony at Town Hall.

TRUMBULL, CT — First Selectman Vicki Tesoro and other Trumbull town officials will be sworn in during an upcoming ceremony at Town Hall following this month's municipal election.
According to the town website, the ceremony will be held Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at Madison Middle School, located at 4630 Madison Avenue in Trumbull.
Those who wish to attend the ceremony are asked to enter the school through Door 1, located next to the flagpole.

Tesoro, a Democrat, was reelected as first selectman on Nov. 4 after Republican candidate Mark Block conceded to her that night.
According to vote totals shared by the Connecticut Secretary of State's Office as of Friday morning, Tesoro received 7,153 votes while Block received 5,518 votes.

Recently, a recount for the third seat in District 5 on the Town Council between Republican candidates John Foreman and Joe Pifko came down to a single vote, according to Democratic Registrar Jean Rabinow.
Rabinow confirmed Wednesday the recount resulted in 817 votes for Foreman and 816 votes for Pifko.
