THD Hosts the Second Annual Public Health Cupcake Wars

Registration Required

The Trumbull Health Department is hosting the second annual Public Health Cupcake Wars on Friday, August 25, from 9:30-11:00 am at the Trumbull Senior Center, 23 Priscilla Place, Trumbull. Open to students in kindergarten to eighth grade. There is no fee to participate, but registration is required. Call the Trumbull Health Department at 203-452-1030 (ext. 0) to register. The Trumbull Health Department will discuss the importance of food safety and hand hygiene while working in the kitchen.

“We encourage children to come participate in this fun event,” said Luci Bango, Trumbull Health Department Director of Health. “It’s an opportunity for children to show their creative side and express themselves.”

Participants will be given a maximum of two cupcakes to decorate. All supplies will be provided. We cannot guarantee that the ingredients used will be allergen free. Participants will be allowed to take their cupcakes home to enjoy. Prizes will be awarded by age group. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
