Traffic Signal To Be Installed On Route 111 In Trumbull
The installation is expected to continue through this week and into early next week, according to Trumbull officials.

TRUMBULL, CT — A traffic signal is scheduled to be installed on Route 111 this week, and work will likely take place through next week, according to town officials.
In a news release posted to the town website, officials said the signal equipment at the shopping plaza occupied by Prime One Eleven and The Edge Fitness Club is expected on site Monday and the contractor will work this week to get the traffic signal installed.

Officials said the project will involve working on the corners of the plaza intersection to install the support poles and span wire, as well as work within the roadway/intersection to install the traffic signal heads and signs on the span wire.
The installation is expected to continue through this week and into early next week. The signal needs to be inspected by the state Department of Transportation before it is activated to full operation, officials said.
