Trumbull Arts Festival To Feature Fine Artists, Food Trucks
The Trumbull Arts Festival is scheduled to take place in September on the Town Hall Green.

TRUMBULL, CT — The annual Trumbull Arts Festival will take place Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Town Hall Green, located at 5866 Main Street.
According to a news release on the town website, the festival draws artists and crafters from around the state.
Featured items include handmade purses, artisan soaps, jewelry, birdhouses, pottery and pet accessories.

Entertainment will start at the gazebo at 10 a.m. with Tom Weber, a children’s musician and entertainer. Kids can also head over to the Children’s Creative Center tent, where the Trumbull Nature and Arts Center and Trumbull Community Women will offer free crafts for children.
Free yoga class will also be held for an all ages and levels at the Trumbull Parks and Recreation building. The class will be taught by one of the recreation yoga instructors.

A non-perishable donation to the Trumbull Food Pantry is suggested but not required to attend the free class, which will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Food trucks including Get Stuffed Food Truck, Micalizzi’s Brainfreeze Bar and Silver Sands Pizza will also be present during the event. All vendors and food trucks will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
First Selectman Vicki Tesoro will address the crowd at 1 p.m. to celebrate Trumbull's 225th birthday, which will be followed by a performance by Big Deal Rock, a high energy rock dance band, at 1:30 p.m.
