Trumbull Baseball Team Heads To Babe Ruth World Series
The Trumbull Babe Ruth 14U baseball team is headed to the Babe Ruth World Series in Virginia this weekend. Here is their schedule.
TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Babe Ruth 14U baseball team is headed to the Babe Ruth World Series in Virginia this weekend after winning the Connecticut State Championship and the New England Regional Tournament.
The schedule for the first four games of the series is as follows, according to the town website:
- Saturday, Aug. 5 at 3:30 p.m. vs Australia
- Sunday, Aug. 6 at 3:30 p.m. vs West Virginia
- Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 8 a.m. vs Virginia
- Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. vs Washington
Each game will be livestreamed beginning Saturday by Jock Jive Sports Network. Anyone interested in watching the games will need to subscribe to the world series at www.jockjive.com at a price of $30 to stream all 41 games, according to town officials.
