Trumbull Board Of Education Seeking Policy Committee Advisory Members

The board is currently seeking three parents/guardians and two community members to serve as advisory members of the Board Policy Committee.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Board of Education is currently seeking three parents/guardians of Trumbull Public School students and two community members to serve as advisory members of the Board Policy Committee.

According to a news release provided by the school district, the two community members must be Trumbull residents.

The board will appoint parent/guardian and community members to a term beginning in November 2024 and ending in August 2026.

Creation of policy is one of the most critical responsibilities of the Board of Education, and the board encourages involvement of the community in improving existing policy and proposing new policy, according to Trumbull Public Schools.

The Policy Committee meets regularly in the early evening at the Long Hill Administration Building.

Anyone interested in being considered for one of the parent/guardian or community positions is asked to complete a short application form no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2024.
