Braulio Moncion, 37, of East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Police said Moncion and an accomplice stole items and made fraudulent returns. The accomplice escaped, police added.
Moncion's bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
