Trumbull Cops Arrest 2 for Alleged Lying, Burglary

Recent arrests by Trumbull Police.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Trumbull Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Nicholas E. Kulish, 25, of Teresa Place, Bridgeport, is charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny regarding Trumbull burglaries.

Trumbull police said Kulish's home and car were searched with the help of Fairfield police, where officers found jewelry and cash.

Jewelry and cash were reported stolen from a Trumbull resident's home, police said.

Kulish's bond was set at $50,000.

Gun Allegedly Traded, Then Reported Stolen

Gregg Sean Cavalier, 59, of Plumb Road, Trumbull, is charged with second-degree making a false statement.

Police said Cavalier traded a gun for drugs. Bridgeport police then recovered the gun and notified Cavalier, who then reported it stolen, Trumbull Police said.

Cavalier is already facing weapons charges.

His bond was set at $25,000 in the latest arrest.

All suspects are scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
